iCloud is a pretty neat system, working in the background across a ton of different apps without much input needed from us users, except our login name and password. It lets you sync Notes, Reminders, save documents, keep game saved-states, and even manage your music collection

Apple Expands Mac Accessory Line To Over 4,700 US Radio Shacks | 9to5Mac

Radio Shack, a US retailler with over 4,700 US locations, has expanded its lineup of Apple products online and in stores. While Radio Shack has long carried iOS devices and accessories including Apple’s Wireless Keyboard, the retail chain is now offering Mac specific accessories including Wired keyboards, Mice/Trackpads, Magsafe power adapters, video adapter/cables and more.  The additions were first noticed by MacRumors.

The move follows Apple’s addition of Staples to it’s stable earlier this year and the combined total of new places to find these items near 6,500 locations in the US. That’s a significant number of new physical locations for Apple customers to find products needed in a pinch.

Win_8_Pie_Chart_&*678q645897

First Alleged Part Leaks Surface for Apple’s ‘Budget’ iPhone | MacTrast

While supposed leaked parts have already surfaced for Apple’s next-gen iPhone 5S, and even the claimed “redesigned” 5th-gen iPad, Apple’s budget iPhone has so far not seen any hardware leaks to back up claims that it is on the way – until now, that is.

Japanese parts vendor iLab Factory (via Macotakara / iDownloadBlog) shares a set of photos of claimed parts of Apple’s supposed “budget” version of the iPhone, including a flex cable for the home button, and a flex cable for the volume controls and vibration motor. The report also points out that the parts could possible be for the iPhone 5S, although it’s equally likely that they are meant for the cheaper iPhone model.
