Apple Plans Scheduled Maintenance To Prep For Lion Launch | MacTrast

Lion is cautiously emerging from the jungle and into the open plains.

We have heard multiple reports that Apple is scheduling some downtime in order to prepare iTunes for the arrival of Lion. iTunes Connect, a portal that lets developers, musicians, et al, upload details about their products, will be down today from 9AM to 4PM Pacific Time.

We also heard reports that sections of the iTunes Store was unavailable for a period of approximately 3 hours last night (thanks Trey).

Mac OS X Lion will be available to download from the Mac App Store for $29 and will come in at around 4GBs.
